On the ninth day of Christmas, F.I.T. gave to me, 9 ways to relax and rejuvenate to end the year!
For some of you Christmas break is already here and for
others, this is our last week of school! This is a time to relax and spend time
with family and friends. Here are some ideas that can help you relax and
rejuvenate before the returning back to school.
Celebrate family and friends.
Family and friends help you stay grounded and focused on what really matters.
Celebrate the smallest to the biggest things with them this holiday season.
Have a relaxing day at the
spa or create a relaxing oasis in your very own bathroom with a hot bubble
bath, soft music, and candles.
Reflect on 2012. Reflecting
on the good and bad, especially the good will provide you with the opportunity
to nurture a positive attitude for the New Year.
Indulge in a great book. Pick
up that book you never had a chance to start or finish and let this holiday
season be a chance for you to experience a new adventure.
Smile! It takes more
muscles to frown than smile, so get your smile on. Listen to Kirk Franklin’s
song Smile!
Try something new! Try a
new dish, eye color, drink, restaurant, tradition etc. Trying new things
stimulates your brain and creates new pathways. (www.depend.com)
Make a special meal or
special treats to share with family and friends. If you are not a cook, go out
to dinner with family and friends and enjoy laughs and good cheers!
Add an extra gift in your
stocking or under the tree for you. Who knows better what you want than you!
Enjoy your gift Christmas morning!
Show someone how much you
care with a Holiday greeting card or gift to say thank you!
Happy Holidays!
